What currency can I use to pay for my subscription?

You can pay in Sterling on this site or in US Dollars

 

What payment methods can I use?

On this website you can pay using direct debit (UK only) or credit/debit card. We can also accept cash/cheque, a standing order or set up an invoiced or continuous credit card payment through customer services.

 

When will money be taken out of my account?

If you pay by direct debit, then money will be taken out of your account according to the term agreed. The first direct debit payment will be indicated in your subscription acknowledgement letter, which will typically take up to 10 days to be delivered from the date you placed your order. Trial offer payments are taken from your account typically within 2 to 3 days of order confirmation. If you would like to know the exact dates that money is due to be taken from your account, then please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.

 

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription please call our customer services team. Should you wish to cancel your subscription it will be cancelled on expiry of the current term which will not be refundable other than in exceptional circumstances. Standard (ie non-trial) Direct Debit subscription rates are fixed for one year, after which they are subject to change. We will inform you of any changes to your payment amounts.

 

Please note that if your subscription includes an introductory gift, the gift will not be despatched until payment has successfully been processed.

 

Delivery/Shipping

 

When will I receive my first issue?

Your first issue can take up to 6 weeks to arrive after the initial order (depending on how close the date of order is to the next issue's mailing date), although it is often sooner than this. Subsequent issue delivery times vary depending on your location and the magazine you have subscribed to. For UK subscribers we strive to deliver all monthly magazines on or before the publication date and weekly magazines on the publication date.

 

Overseas subscribers will receive their copies dependent on shipping method and location - please contact customer services for details specific to your subscription.

How can I change my subscription account details/ access subscriber-exclusive offers?

How do I renew my subscription?

Direct Debit and continuous credit card are regular, continuous payment methods and subscriptions set up on these methods will renew automatically unless cancelled. These continuous payment prices are valid for one year, after which they are subject to increase. We will write to inform you of any increase in your subscription price. Single term payment methods (cash, credit card, debit card, cheque) require action from you in order to renew for a further term. We will send you reminder emails and/or letters throughout the course of your subscription, detailing the offers available to you for renewing. Please follow the instructions on the letters to complete the renewal process. If your subscription has already lapsed, and you would like to start receiving your magazine again, please contact our customer service team for the latest offers and discounts.

Is my payment secure?

This website uses a Thawte security certificate for all online payments. This ensures that information is kept private while in transit between our web server and your web browser.

 

Email is not a secure media, so please do not include your bank or payment card details in emails to us.
